Since 2003, Emily Katz has used a sewing machine's needle and thread instead of a pencil to create her whimsical artwork. Recently, she began illustrating her meals as part of a cleanse and also a competition called Project Food Blog, through her featured publisher Foodbuzz.
Here you can browse her mostly food themed illustrations, and take one (or many) mouthwatering paintings home to keep you company in your kitchen, or any other room in your home.
Each piece is freehand embroidered without sketching first, and then some are additionally hand watercolored.
